Fair Play For Children's Hospices

As part of the NBC Winner Foundation's ongoing commitment and dedication to children's charities, and building on Neil's personal involvement in his local children's hospice, the Foundation is funding the Fair Play for Children's Hospices campaign to help secure sustained, long-term Government funding for children's hospices. The majority of the millions of pounds it costs to run children's hospices come from voluntary donations from the general public, supplemented by a small, unpredictable contribution from the Government. While short-term, ad hoc Government funding has just been announced by the Government and is most welcome, a guaranteed system of funding is needed to ensure all children's hospices can provide essential services for current and future generations of ill children and their families.

Fair Play is seeking a Government commitment to provide sustained, long-term funding for children's hospices because without this many children's hospices will continue to face cutbacks or closure and new, desperately needed, hospices will not be built. Fair Play is NOT asking for donations, just that you SHOW YOUR SUPPORT by clicking on the Fair Play pledge button (left), or fairplayforchildren.org.uk, or by post to PO BOX 2655, Bristol, BS4 9BH.
